Who we are
AssurITy Solutions ("AssurITy," "we," "us") is a managed IT and cybersecurity provider located at 505 W. Robertson St, Brandon, FL 33511, and a daughter company of Brandon Business Machines. This policy describes how we handle information collected through this website and when you contact us. It does not replace the data-handling terms in our client service agreements, which govern how we treat client systems and data.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, company, email, phone number, team size, the services you tick, and anything you write in a contact form, consultation request, email, or phone call.
- Technical basics: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps), retained by our hosting provider and used for security and troubleshooting.
- Website analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across other websites. It tells us page views and referring sites, not who you are. We also run our own first-party analytics (page views, clicks, and referring pages) to understand how the site is used; it is cookieless, is never used for advertising, and is not shared or sold.
- Interaction events: we record which buttons and links are used on the site (for example, that someone tapped a phone number or submitted a form), how far down a page people scroll, and which symptom on the home page they picked. These are counts of actions, not profiles of people. No cookies and no browser storage are used for this.
- Client portal: if you are an active client, the portal is operated on HaloPSA and is covered by your service agreement and HaloPSA's own terms.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use this site to build advertising profiles or sell data to advertisers.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you ask about.
- To send the newsletter, but only if you tick the box asking for it. It is unticked by default, and you can stop it at any time by replying or emailing us.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet legal, accounting, and insurance obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do rely on the following providers to run the site, and information passes through them:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, and the cookieless analytics described above.
- Resend: delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. Your name, company, email, phone number and message pass through their service.
- HaloPSA: our ticketing and client-portal platform.
- Google Maps: the map on our contact page is embedded from Google, which means Google can see that your browser loaded it. If you would rather it did not, our address is written out in text beside it.
- unpkg: a content delivery network that serves some of the code this site runs on.
- No live-chat widget is running. If we add one, this policy will be updated before it goes live.
Security
Information you send us is handled on a need-to-know basis, over encrypted connections, on systems we monitor. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please don't include passwords or other credentials in a contact form. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Florida law.
Retention
We keep inquiry and guide-download records for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need to keep them longer for legal, accounting, or insurance reasons. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy of it. You can also ask us to stop sending you anything. We will respond within 45 days, and we may need to verify who you are before we act, usually by replying from the address we already hold.
To make a request, email [email protected], call (813) 689-1950, or use the records request form.
If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response and saying so. We will review it and give you a written answer.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the site.
